This acrylic series is again, a depiction of the sacred Sipa Khorlo, the Wheel of Life, depicted here as a circle you cannot walk out of, a cycle of repeating emotional and karmic loops. 
Faces appear in these paintings, faces that dissolve into cloud and smoke, representing beings caught between forgetting an remembering. The roots and branches close around these figures like a womb or a cage, while rings of color bleed downward into the earth just as sorrow or anger settle into a landscape long after the causal moment has passed. 
By no means, happy paintings, this body of work sits inside the "Vicious Circle" just as we do.
